Hey! I’m Sarah.
Thank you for your interest in me and my work.
Before becoming a product designer, I spent 5 years in the non-profit world.
What drove me then, and still drives me now, is a deep desire to help people feel seen, supported, and empowered. Whether I was working with communities or leading teams, I found purpose in creating systems and experiences that removed barriers and helped others thrive. I’ve always been most energized when I’m solving real problems for real people.
Design Thinking changed everything.
In my final semester of an MBA program, I took a design thinking course that lit a fire in me. For the first time, I saw a structured, creative way to channel my desire to help others into building tangible solutions. It was the spark that connected my empathy with action. It gave me a process for designing with and for people in a way that makes their lives easier, more efficient, and even a little more joyful.
Why product design?
Because it's the perfect intersection of problem-solving, creativity, and human impact. I love translating complex needs into intuitive, elegant solutions that meet people where they are. I became drawn to user-centered design because it begins with empathy for the real challenges that people face. Designing solutions with compassion in the forefront, alongside well-informed research guiding the decision-making process, is an exhilarating challenge that I love to take head on.
Why me?
If you're considering me for your team, you should know that I'm a natural leader who is passionate about bringing out the best in myself and others. I’m a strong communicator and have led diverse, cross-functional teams with a focus on fostering inclusive, collaborative environments where every voice is valued. I’m self-motivated, efficient, and thoughtful with my work, and I thrive in team settings, especially when solving complex challenges together. I bring kindness, empathy, and a deep sense of ownership to everything I do, and I genuinely love building meaningful, impactful products as part of a team.
When I’m not working, you can catch me with my family.
I also enjoy playing piano, reading, cooking, traveling, having meaningful deep conversations, listening to a podcast, working out and being outside!
